National Citizen Service is a programme for 15-17 year olds living in England and Northern Ireland that encourages them to make extra ordinary friendships and learn the skills they don’t get taught in schools.

NCS wanted to develop a mobile app to act as a spine across the different points of the NCS programme – creating a better experience for young people by providing them with relevant and engaging tools as well as garnering insights and improved data for the business.

Working with the operations team, the marketing team and the CIO, Nimble helped NCS definite the functionality of the product from version 1 to version 3 across a 2 year road map.

 

We then helped NCS make the business changes necessary to drive the implementation of the roadmap, including operational and reporting changes with their training providers and technical changes necessary on the NCS back end system.

Finally we helped NCS develop a detailed brief to select a suitable delivery partner as well as managing the procurement process.
